This month we have some new releases to announce, news on the Blackpool International Dance Festival, and update on our new hours, and some news on our specials. We are still working on our new site, and I just returned from a conference to learn some of the latest techniques to include in our new site. While we had hoped to have it launched by now, we are nearing completion and we appreciate your patience as we apply the finishing touches, and get ready to launch. 


BLACKPOOL INTERNATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL

Every May, one of the world's biggest and most important ballroom dance competitions is held in Blackpool, England. This 10 day open dance competition brings amateur and professional ballroom dancers from all over the world to compete. Many of the producers of ballroom dance music plan their new releases to coincide with this event, but this year we have several new releases to announce before the event. However, we will probably still have some new releases to tell you about when we return from the Festival. Dance Plus will be there to get the scoop on all the new releases and find out what our producers have planned for the next year. SPECIALS

We have extended some promotions and added some new ones. There has never been a better time to get save a bundle at DancePlus.com. Here's a run down on our current promotions:
  1. We still give all our North American customers free shipping on every order.
  2. We still have a limited quantity of the Klaus Hallen CDs which are priced at $16.95 (approximately $11.08 US), but these CDs are from a special arrangement with the producer and it is a one time special only. We bought a certain quantity of these CDs at a special price which we are passing on to you. When we run out of these CDs we will still be able to get these titles but the price will go back up to $34.95 CDN (approximately $22.84 US funds). We have already sold out on "Collection: Waltz", but there are still 14 titles left. Just click on "Best Buys" or "CDs on Sale" to buy these special CDs before they are all gone.

NEW RELEASES

We have just added 11 new CDs that were just released. 



To see the new releases just click on the new releases button on the left hand navigation bar at the site (http://www.danceplus.com). The first 11 are the new releases we added this week. Visit our site to see the cover art, a list of all the tracks and their dances, and to listen to sound clips from each track. 

Here's the quick run down on the new releases. 

  1. Dancing Latino: Ole 2 (15 tracks) - Terrific Latin. Listen to La Bomba and California.
  2. Festivaldanza - Ballroom - Vol.2  (15 tracks) - A good collection of favorite titles for the standard dances.
  3. Dancelife's Very Best No.8 (19 tracks) - Great compilation of Dancelife previously recorded tracks.
  4. Take My Breath Away (19 tracks) - This CD has a good mix of several dances that are hard to find - Hip Hop, RB and Salsafox.
  5. Ballroom Beauties V2 (14 tracks) - Nice collection of standard tracks, nice slow foxtrots.
  6. Most Beautiful Songs - Firesteps - Vol. 3 (14 tracks) - Highlight - Cha Cha Cha "Don't Stop Moving", nice Rumbas.
  7. Dance Charts - Step 2 (19 tracks) - Dancehouse does it again.This is a great CD. Love the Rumbas.
  8. Rimini Open - Vol 3 (25 tracks) - Waltzes and Tango's are fabulous.
  9. Latin Jam 7 (15 tracks) - New arrangements of popular International songs.
  10. Dancefloor Stars - Vol 3 (18 tracks) - Good titles, very well presented. Something for everyone.
  11. Dr. Beat - Volume 1 (22 tracks) - This CD has all the dances - Swings, Merengue, Mambo, Hustle
