Dear
fellow dancer;
I want to introduce you to eight hot new releases, and some of the
stories behind them, and tell you about an exciting sale we are
having.
This year, Brian
& Carmen (yes they are that good that they don't need last names) won all the five dances in
the Professional Latin category. It was their 7th victory in Blackpool, more than any other couple in the history.
To mark their retirement Casa Musica has released a 2 CD set, Latin
Classics I, with 41
tracks of music used by them and other top latin dancers in shows and
performances. A companion CD called Ballroom
Stars, also a 2 CD set,
honors William Pino & Alessandra Bucciarelli, with 42 ballroom
tracks. These CDs are a great value!
Other highlights in
this batch of fall releases include the fabulous Latinized! and
Latin
Intensity which was a best seller at Blackpool this year. Teachers and
students will appreciate Feel the Latin
Rhythm, which is ideal for practice as the tracks were chosen so that the dancer can really "feel the rhythm."
It also includes practice suggestions for each track. This CD is the
best CD we've seen for teaching and practice.
Lastly, we have put
over 40 CDs on sale. There are some great bargains on new releases and
favorites, including 4 CDs that were just announced in the last
