The Heather Split
The Heather Split-Sole, shown here in the Air Mesh material, is a flexible version of the traditional teaching and practice shoe that has a split sole, and is widely used across all levels of dancing around the world. It offers comfort, stability and value, with added flexibility, which is ideal since, for many dancers, the Heather-Split is the dance shoe that they wear the most. This popular practice shoe is lightweight and features specially developed arch padding which helps with foot alignment and comfort.
The Heather is also available with the traditional full sole, which sacrifices some flexibility in exchange for more support. Similar to Latin shoes, the full sole also has a metal shank in the arch for maximum stability.Â

We stock the regular width, and missing sizes are replaced in our monthly shipment. Any of these can be ordered in Wide, Narrow, and Extra-Wide by special order at no extra charge, and will receive your specially made shoes in our next monthly shipment.
The Heather-Split is also available in some eye-catching designs that are only available for a limited time. New designs are introduced and some designs get retired.Â
