Replacement Soles for Men

These replacement soles for men in the traditional colours of black, tan, and white and tan are the same chrome leather, non-skid soles that are used in the production of IDS men’s dance shoes.  We stock these traditional colours; black, tan, and white, but for a more eye-catching look, coloured soles in red and blue for both men and women by special order.

Applying new chrome leather, non-skid soles from International Dance Shoes can extend the life of your dance shoes, as the soles will likely become worn before the shoes do. Dance shoes will last a long time with a just a little maintenance.

To apply, just clean the bottom of your dance shoes with your shoe scraper to remove any excess dirt, trace your shoes, cut the replacement soles for men to fit, then apply the new sole over top of the existing worn sole with a strong holding glue. A precision hobby knife can be used to cut the soles or clean up the edges if necessary. We recommend you use contact cement for leather to glue on the soles. The glue is available at most hardware stores.
