Replacement Soles

These replacement soles for women in the traditional colours of black, tan, and white and tan are the same chrome leather, non-skid soles that are used in the production of IDS dance shoes.  We stock these traditional colours; black, tan, and white for both women and men, but for a more eye-catching look, coloured soles in red and blue are available by special order and when ordered will arrive with our next monthly shipment.

Applying new chrome leather, non-skid soles from International Dance Shoes can extend the life of your dance shoes, as the soles will likely become worn before the shoes do. Dance shoes will last a long time with a just a little maintenance.

To apply, just clean the bottom of your dance shoes with your shoe scraper to remove any excess dirt, trace your shoes, cut the replacement soles for women to fit, then apply the new sole over top of the existing worn sole with a strong holding glue. A precision hobby knife can be used to cut the soles or clean up the edges if necessary. We recommend you use contact cement for leather to glue on the soles. The glue is available at most hardware stores.
