The Contra was the first split-sole standard shoe available for men and is engineered under the guidance of the world’s top professional and amateur ballroom dancers. There is padding under the heel to cushion each step and gel padding runs all the way through the insole. The Contra is also available in black Lycra, AirMesh, and patent. Dancers often choose the Contra Black Patent for evening or competition and select the light and soft Contra Black Leather when practicing and teaching.
