Sizing & Fittings
Here you will find all our sizing charts in one place. You will also find the correct size chart for each style on the bottom of each pair of shoe’s individual shoe product information page. These charts may differ slightly from our suppliers as these charts are based on our over thirty years of fitting experience with styles from these brands. We also break down our size charts by brand and style, as we find that your size in a closed toe is usually half size larger than an open toed latin style. Questions? Call us – we’d love to help.
SIZING- WOMENS
UK - International Dance Shoes
We suggest going up a half size when choosing a style with no toe opening (closed toe), over the open toed styles.
SIZING- WOMENS
UK - Dance Steps by Freed
Even if you have had dance shoes from Freed of London in the past, we find that the Dance Steps line sizing can differ from their other ballroom styles.
SIZING- womens
EU - Merlet of France
Use these European size charts for Merlet, but be aware we recommend different sizing for the Sya style (pictured in black suede), and have included an additional size chart for that style.
SIZING-Mens
UK - Mens (IDS & Freed)
Despite both brands of mens shoes being made in England, we still find you need to go down one-half size when choosing Freed over International Dance Shoes.
